We are local and eat at Meg's about 2 or 3 times per month. The food is good and the menu is diverse. Some items are better than others. Their pizza is the best in town. The crust is like soft bread sticks. A large pizza will feed 4 people. Burgers are good and the shrimp basket is the best deal on the menu with 22 big shrimp, fries and garlic bread for $16. Service is good. This is a local bar and restaurant that serves good drinks, beer and food. It is not a high-end or fancy place. Don't forget the desserts as they are made fresh in-house.

I've been here plenty. Very nice service, burgers are great. I highly recommend coming on Friday and Saturday nights. Karaoke is a blast and the music is fun!

After a day at play in Pacific City my Sister and I stopped into this little diamond in the rough... I enjoyed a cup of clam chowder and shared an order of the fried avocados. Both were delicious!! The owner was working behind the bar and taking all the orders. He was really personable and friendly. The establishment was clean with a good energy. I will return.

Hidden gem when in the area. Went in looking for bakery to find out about the restaurant. Pizza and burgers were solid, friendly service and lots of fresh dessert items not normally found in restaurants

Spent a few days in Pacific City this week, Meg's Beachwood Bar & Grill was our first restaurant we stopped at because it was walking distance to our house and we were too hungry to really check out other options. The menu offers a selection of typical bar snacks, sandwiches, some entrees and pizza. Service was great, the bartender was running the whole restaurant and was fairly busy our first visit - she greeted us and we ordered from the bar but sat outside. Fish & chips were just ok, they are served on a wet piece of lettuce which made the fried fish soggy even with me removing the pieces once they were delivered. Because we were so hungry that was a bit disappointing, but we ate the soggy fish Next time I will ask to not have lettuce on the plate? We came back again later in the week as it was the only place around the area that was open, it was about 11pm and the other bar had closed. It was fairly busy and once again it was just the one woman at the bar but she was quick and offered good service despite having a bar full of customers.

Good bar. Friendly people. We enjoyed the 213 burger, Cajun tots (yum) chicken bacon wrap and chicken strips w tots. Drinks were tasty and they have a damn good ultimate Bloody Mary. We also enjoyed the live music on the back patio Saturday Night. Mister Wizard was great and kept the party going until 11! They also have excellent pastries, cakes and pies in the attached bakery.

My Mom got a new vacation home in the area and she is on a specific diet and seems to be in love with this little place. We came to visit her with our two kids and amongst the times of our exploring we ended up eating here twice because it was right around the corner from us. The first night we got fried avocado, a bbq burger, a chicken bacon ranch salad, fish n chips, and two orders of chicken tenders for the kids. The food was great and the staff is trying their hardest especially when it's busy. Quality was great and the pricing was reasonable. The second night we ordered two pizzas and a chicken bacon ranch salad again. We couldn't decide on what pizzas we wanted to order so the waitress/bartender offered to make us pizzas that were half one style and half the other. The food was delicious and the waitress went out of her way to help make our meals even more enjoyable. Overall, for the quality, price point, and the hospitality provided by the staff, I would give this place an easy 5 stars. The only critique I will give, is that you really need to be sure and check your food and make sure your order is accurate. We had to drive back the first night to get tartar sauce that they forgot to put in our fish n chips, and the second night they put avocado in our salad after we asked for no avocado. Again, not a huge deal for us as we live around the corner now and I too work in the industry so I know this can be a easy and common slip up. However, if it were a tourist or another yelper, they might dock them on points for this type of thing. I highly recommend this establishment!

We were recommended to come here for some good fish and chips, but I wanted prime rib. Turns out their special tonight was fish and chips and prime rib. My brother ordered the fish and chips and I got the prime rib. The salad it came with was yummy with the extra olives and mushrooms and tomatoes. The prime was cooked medium and the mash potatoes were creamy and I think had some Parmesan cheese. The fish and chips were yummy also. I got to try some. The venue was open and a nice environment. Clean and a good amount of people. My blue moon was from a bottle and we finished everything. I highly recommend a visit if you visit pacific city!
